There are days that we easily lose faith in the power of God and most importantly, His ability to change our current situation. The Word of God reminds us in Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” This is the promise of God that never changes, it still has the spiritual power today to completely change our lives for the better, if you can only believe in the One who made the promise.
Today, I want to encourage you to build on your faith. Start by confessing your lack of faith to the Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to help you. In 2 Corinthians 12: 9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” God encourages you to know that His grace is sufficient for you, because His power is made perfect in your weakness. Remember this – Whatever you are going through, God has the grace and the strength to empower you to go through it and overcome it. Therefore, begin your day by having faith for the moment, the present and in the little and big things. Continue to build on that faith everyday by renewing your mind through the hearing of the word of God. Little by little, day by day, your faith will increase and the Lord will use that faith to accomplish miracles, healings and breakthroughs in your life.
Let us look at Hebrews 11:2 “For by it (faith) the elders obtained a good report.” The question one may ask – are you looking for a good report and are you ready to obtain a good report? Your answer must be “YES.” If “Yes” then get faith through the Word of God and you will be amazed the things the Lord will do in you and through you!
